About Silver Lake Preschool
We have a passion for excellence and innovation in preschool education. At The Church in Silver Lake Preschool, we have over 100 years collective experience in establishing learning environments tailored to the individual needs, talents, abilities and interests of each child. We hold a fundamental belief about the importance of education and its ability to nurture the development of intelligence through a unique curriculum encompassing music, the arts, science, technology, literacy, numeracy and physical exploration.
Our children have held exhibitions of their own art and have been successful in entering appropriate primary schools in the continuance of their life-long learning journeys. Most importantly, our children develop self-confidence and an understanding of their needs, who they are and how to become compassionate and responsible members of social groups. Our staff are knowledgeable, dedicated and enthusiastic, and provide a warm, loving environment for your child.

As the Director here at The Church in Silver Lake Preschool, I always place children at the center of all my decisions. I can not explain in words the reward I get from seeing children grow, develop, learn and thrive in the school we have created. I am committed to providing quality, innovative childcare to those families who choose The Church in Silver Lake Preschool. Our programs allows parents to leave their children in our care with the peace of mind that they will be well cared for in a warm, intellectually stimulating and loving environment.
Mrs Diane McBride
Four Year Olds Lead Teacher / Five Year Old Aid / Assistant Director
Mrs. McBride earned her degree in Child Development from Kent State University. Mrs McBride has been teaching with the preschool for 15 years and has been married for 25 years with two incredible daughters. Her true love is her handsome dog Blu.
Mrs Meredith Davidson
Four Year Olds Aid
Mrs. Davidson has a background in social work with a degree from the University of Toledo. Mrs. Davidson brings experience as a mother of three, all former students of the Church in Silver Lake Preschool. This is her 5 year teaching with the program, she has been married 20 years and lives in Stow.
Mrs Stephanie Morgan
Five Year Old Teacher Aid
Mrs. Stephanie Morgan lives in Cuyahoga Falls, has worked at our preschool for 28 years and has her bachelor degree in liberal arts. She has 3 beautiful kids and 1grandkids and one on the way. She enjoys doing science experiments and doing library time with the students.
Mrs Hallie Kosovich
Three Year Old Lead Teacher / 4’s Aid
Mrs. Kosovich graduated from Kent State University where she earned her degree in English, with a Writing minor. She has several years of experience teaching young children. She has been married for 10 years to her amazing husband, and together they have one incredible daughter.
Mrs Cassie Jebber
Three Year Old Aid / Five Year Old Aid
Mrs. Cassie Jebber lives in Cuyahoga Falls and graduated from Kent State University. She provides support to the lead teacher and loves engaging the children in their learning activities. In addition to her time with Silver Lake Preschool, she has been involved in the Cuyahoga Falls and Silver Lake schools for over a decade.
Mrs Katie Keba
Five Year Old Aid
Mrs. Katie Keba lives in Stow and graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. She has been married for 10 years to her loving husband Joe, and their three children have all attended The Church in Silver Lake Preschool. Her lifelong dream of being a teacher is finally being fulfilled in the halls of SLP.
Mrs Robinette
Three Year Old Aid
Mrs. Robinette is new to the SLP team of teachers this year after having her children attend the preschool for the past several years. She earned her degree in Civil Engineering from Ohio University but has had experience working in a variety of fields. She loves spending time in nature, traveling the world (whenever she can), and living life to the fullest while making memories with her husband of 15 years and their three amazing daughters.
Mrs Jamie Heinl
5 Year Old Lead Teacher
Mrs. Heinl comes to Silver Lake Preschool after a fruitful career in nonprofit. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Public Communication with a minor in English Studies. Mrs. Heinl’s experience comes from being a mother of two young boys, aunt to 19 and being a classroom volunteer for her son’s school. She has been married for 14 years and lives in Brimfield. Over the last 3 years in the classroom her love of educating children has blossomed.
